The Young STEMists Summer Program was such a wonderful week for my children. They had the opportunity to meet and play with their peers in a small and safe environment, discover and explore new scientific ideas in a hands-on manner, and learn and understand how to work together as a team to achieve success.

Thank you Mandy for providing a fun and inclusive STEM camp experience! Elliette (age 12) was eager to return each day to take on the next activity and felt accomplished by the time I picked her up. The program was a perfect way to keep her engaged in her interests and with her peers outside of school. We will definitely be signing up again!

My 5 year old absolutely LOVED this Young STEMists camp! I had my first glimpse of her as a teenager every time I returned to pick her up as she wanted nothing to do with me. She made new friends, learned so much, and had tons of fun. I now feel confident that she will love kindergarten - as long as her teacher is as sweet and smart as Mandy.

I loved it! It gave me something to do outside my own home that wasn’t walking or biking. My favorite activity was the robot building and boat making was a close second! I think Veterans Park was the perfect spot for this because it has lots of shade and is ideal for the summer afternoon heat. I would definitely attend next time it’s held.

Mandy Zhang and her team were amazing. She was patient with the children, helpful, knowledgeable and they kept things fun and interactive. My daughter had a great time and she cannot wait to go back for another STEM program. This was a great program for the children and the community!
